There’s all sorts of satellite theft

When i saw this article it made me laugh. Specially with satellite signal parates named as thiefs.

An Italian man has been jailed for six months for attempting to steal a satellite dish in order to watch AC Milan’s Champions League final with Liverpool on Wednesday.

The Gazzetta dello Sport Web site (www.gazzetta.it) said the 46-year-old had tried to take the dish from a campsite because the Italian Alps near his home in Lecco stopped his television from picking up a terrestrial signal.

The man, who was also fined 400 euros, made too much of a rucus and in turn got spotted by the owne of the campsite’s restaurant, who called police.

“I tried to take the dish because I wanted to see the Champions League final” The man told a judge.
